Did ebay postage labels just increase by 30c or am I imagining things?

Last week I was printing my own postage labels at $8.65 for the size/weight I generally need. This morning it came up as $8.95. This is no cheaper than taking it to the post office.

Is this right? What just happened? Are we no longer getting a postage discount for using ebay postage?

There is a discount depending on the area you send to . So last week you received the discount this time the area you are sending to is not included so you are charged full price.

Correct,eBay now pocket whatever discount they may get and why I no longer use eBay labels.

I'm also saving money as I don't need to print labels..

Ebay are not pocketing the discount.

The new system of AP discounts, is dependant on the delivery destination

I only answered that bit.^^^^

There used to be discount if you used the eBay labels compared to using Austalia post and eBay used to pass

that on the anyone using their labelling which made posting via eBay labeling cheaper.

That is no longer the case as now eBay postage is exactly the same as AP postage which is dependant on the

to and from addresses.

So any discount that eBay now gets from AP is now no longer passed on to the eBay members.
