I now use Australia Post MyPost Business to get cheaper postage rates and hover between Band 1-2 sending 5-10 parcels a week.
Like eBay postage, I have discovered you can share one MyPost account to get higher discounts. MyPost allows multiple Team Member logins, multiple address books, multiple sending addresses and credit card details are not stored, and you can use your own PayPal account to pay for postage and each team member can link their own eBay account.
I am interested to hear from 2 or 3 other sellers in the Band 1-2 range who may be interested in joining a MyPost shared account to maximise their postage discounts. Collective buying power but with individual control.
It only needs 20 parcels a week to get Band 4 discounts:
Same Major City: 35%
Other Major City: 19%
Rural: 5%
If eBay can do it, so can we. (PM me if interested).

That is correct. It is about pooling the volumes to get onto Band 4.
Currently stuck on Band 3.

Not sure this is a good idea in the long run - there can be multiple team members but only one account holder, right?
Considering AP will now check assessed packages and charge underpaid postage - what happens if one user gets an underpaid postage charge? Who will have to pay it, and if they don't pay, will just the member be blocked by Aus Post, or the whole account?

Each Team member has their own payment account and you will be responsible for your own parcels obviously if you don't pay up then your package doesn't get delievered by Aust post.

An underpaid package will be delivered, but the charge will now be added to the My Post account (the change came in Oct 1st from memory), if it only affects the one team member who had the underpaid package, no problems [for the account holder or other team members], but since Aus Post will block access to My Post after 2 weeks if the charge is not paid, I'd definitely want to know how those kinds of charges will affect the account outside of the specific team member's, especially if it goes unpaid for some reason.

Yes, but any issues with the account will impact all team members,. AP will suspend the whole account not just the naughty persons component. You had better be sure you trust your other members.
