Do I need an abn number to start an eBay store

Hi,I am going to upgrade to an eBay store starting in the new financial year it will be my primary income but I don't plan on going over $75000 gross sales do I still need to get an abn number for tax purposes?

Did you apply for an ABN? If you have never applied then you don't have one.

Check the ATO website :

You might not need one. If you are not sure then read the ATO website carefully to find out if you do and what type of company structure you need. Or speak to a proper accountant.
