Needing some advise. Customer purchased 3 items from me on the 13th Jnauary. The address provided by Paypal doesn't exist in "whereis". Street name doesn't exist. The address has been amended in paypal as it if different from heh Ebay one.
I have messaged several times through Ebay, I have emailed them to the email address provided and called numerous times, but have not had an answer.
What would you do now?

Hi, It is a newer suburb so wasn't showing up in Whereis, also the postcode they originally had in Ebay wasn't updated in Paypal, so that didn't show either. Some brand new developements up near townsville.
sueken4812 is in the vacinity to there so they were able to check for me.

Next time just put the street name and suburb,(that should be permissable on the boards as it's not specific).
Next time maybe just use a Google maps search by typing in the suburb and then go to the map,(you can then
zoom in on the strrets):

Sometimes google maps won't have new streets in it, but whereis will have them. That's what i have found in some of the new divisions in Vic, in any case.

Ok,thanks,(I've always found addresses via Google but Whereis is better again as it does have the extra
streets,so will keep it in mind),

I don't know if it is always the case, Go-tazz. It is just that when I went to look up the address of an old work friend who has just built in a new sub division, she wasn't on google maps but I did find it on whereis.
My children and their friends have all moved further out into newish areas and it can be a real pain trying to find some addresses, they seem to take a while to get onto the maps, though you would think the forward planning for roads would have been known well before any houses were there.

A small diversion on the main subject of this thread. And just curiosity.
Everyone always says to post to the PayPal address.
But when an item has been sold, the 'Print Postage Label' thing (which I don't use) comes up. Wouldn't that postage label have the address registered with eBay on it, which could differ from the PayPal address?
And where does a seller stand then if they use the Postage Label and it's not the same address as that with PayPal?
