Doing your own survey of estimate vs actual delivery?

Given the estimated delivery date disappears once tracking shows delivery it is hard to track accuracy in hindsight. Anyone made a note of estimate when payment recieved, and then checked off actual tracked delivered date in order to see how accurate they are, rather than using perception. Also if you do get a late shipping strike you cant otherwise check back to see when it was meant to have been.

I'd be taking a screengrab rather than a written or typed notation.  The screengrab can be easily incorporated into an email should you have to make a complaint to eBay regarding their delivery estimates.

I agree, I have better things to do with my time. I cannot do anything to change how long AP are going to take to make deliveries so I post and then forget about them unless a buyer asks where their parcel is.

Me three. I've not had any issues with buyers asking where their item is since I pumped my handling time out to 5 days, but still post same or next day. I post and forget about it. Very occasionally I'll check a tracking number and the item arrives most of the time before the first date of the estimate.

I really don't understand why people don't utilise the extra handling time option if they are having issues with delivery. Having the extra handling time has not affected my sales at all. I don't give a toss about some pretty premium badge either which is why I'm not concerned about having a longer handling time.
