Duplicate listings on different sites?

Ive read the duplicate listing policy, and I know we can have duplicate (almost) austion style listings on different Ebay sites.

But are we allowed to have duplicate "Buy it Now" listings on different Ebay sites too?

The policy seems to say no... then yes.

Given that you can have the same listing in different categories as long as you pay the additional listing fees, my immediate assumption would be that you can list the item on different sites as well.

We have two basic stores selling the same stuff and mostly the same items are duplicated across the two stores. Since far never been pinged for duplicated items this way.

I've been looking thru Chinese sellers' items - there's 6 or more items, all the same description, all the same price, same photos, different IDs although all in Shenzhen, China.

I suspect they are all the same person or family, especially when they all have the same price, same description which has the same decoration.

I had an experience with an Aussie site, I asked a question of 2 different sellers & the answers both come back from same ID.  They also had the same photos & same description, but different IDs.
