E bay's failure to reflect Australia Post's services

Funny how ebay can roll out the Netflix tax ready to go before its due to go live. Unfortunately it seems like solving world peace when it comes to updating the postage service. 

Just more ways to make things harder for the people that make them money. Us the sellers.

The Netflix tax came into effect last year. And is only on eBay fees.

Perhaps you are confusing it with the new tax starting July 2018 on imports of less than 1000 value.

No Australia Post changed their international rates back in 2016. ebay haven't managed to fix it yet. Haven't even seen the sendle option either.

If the eBay Postage Service List and Postage Calculator matched up with Australia Post, in terms of service names, service pricing, delivery estimate time periods, and completeness (eBay showing all Australia Post services), then I would be very happy.

Seems like this would be a pretty simple benchmark, but reality has shown that year after year the eBay info is out of date, misleading, incorrect etc etc. Yes it works sometimes for some services, but it's not difficult to find plenty of flaws and errors without digging very hard. 

Australia Post actually have a pretty straightforward and simple range of services these days. Surely an experienced website editor could bring eBay up to speed in half a day.....
