In the last couple of weeks we have been seeing the odd random BIN listing in one of our stores (not this ID) being removed by ebay because it is missing one or more UPC/MPN data fields. We get a message and the listing shows up ended in the unsold list.
When I go to check the ended listing sure enough the data is indeed blank.
Now we are certain we painstakingly went thru all our listings earlier in the year and manually added all this data.
So we do not think any are left blank. They should all be "Does Not Apply".
So last week when this happened I went into File Exchange and did and active listing download selecting the option to add/change UPC/MPN data. In the resultant CSV download file you can see all your UPC/MPN data for each and every active listing and for all its variations as well. I have used excel to look for any blanks in this field and it showed NONE were blank anywhere.
But sure enough yesterday yet another single listing has been removed by ebay.
This time I am positive the data was definitely NOT blank but still it shows up as blank when I look into the ended listing.
I have correcetd the listing and used Sell Similar to relist it.
Rechecked my CSV file afterwards and all active listings show up as OK now.
Its beginning to look like some kind of robot error is randomly blanking out this data.
Of course when I relist it uses up one more off my store listing allowance for the month.
So if they do this often enough then sellers will find themselves paying the relisting fees of course.
So far it has not cost us but I will not be happy if it does. Already grumpy about this as it is!
Just wondered if anyone else is seeing this?
And how would you prove to ebay that something on their end is killing off this data randomly?
I could send them a copy of my current CSV file where all acive listings are showing up as OK so if it happens again they will know there were no blank fields in there.

I just noticed this morning tht there are a couple of sellers reporting on the Facebook forum that they have been experiencing this very same problem. So perhaps its not just me after all.

Clarry, probably no-one has replied to your post yet because a lot of people, including me, are trying to deal with the nightmare. Category changes have affected listings - deleting several fields and specifics, creating a lot of hard work and angst.
