Ebay Payout Survey

I've had a request to complete a survey. Stumped by the first question. No option for 'none of the above' or 'other' followed by a please explain, just these 3 limited options. Not one best describes the way I manage funds. Even if it did, what benefit would it be to me to tell Ebay or what would ebay do with this information? There is no explanation given.

Sadly I can't discover what other ill phrased questions are in this survey because it won't let me proceed before I pick one of the not relevant options.

If only there were an option to respond "MYOFB"

Re: Ebay Payout Survey

Thanks tipples! I am pleased that I have enhanced your life experience by providing you with some humour this fine morning! Tomorrow I will see if what you say is true, if I do keep listing, or decide that Feebay's move to wipe out a fair bit of my sales overseas because of their unwanted changes is not worth the bother anymore. We shall see, how exciting it all is! Otherwise, again, I feel humbled that I aided your sense of mirth and a bouyant mood after reading my missive. Take care always! Cheers!

Your post made me laugh.

But it didn't make me happy.

But I am a seller, why else would Ebay send me an email starting " as a seller you are very important to us"?

I get funds into Paypal through my sales (not just on this account).

Re: Ebay Payout Survey

Thanks, I have just done my last 50 listings before the jaws of so called "managed payments" shuts tomorrow. If it was not for the fact that they have wiped out international listings I would have perserved, and as they say - "International selling: When you create a listing on your domestic eBay site and offer international shipping, your listings may surface on the relevant international eBay sites if supported". May surface. Now, everything "surfaces". What a load of corporate tosspot. Friends who sell and are suffering under "managed payments" already in the US, and the UK, are having huge drops in sales as simply, their listings are not showing now generally out of their own country. As I am in a very specialised hobby, they either let me know when they have new listings, or to seach I now go to Feebay UK, Feebay US, Feebay Germany and so on and so on. As so many more are forced onto those "managed payments" you have to check each countries Feebay site, where as before, as soon as you clicked worldwide, all the items on offer were there. Anyway, lets see what happens from now on. If my ability to sell is gone, well, so be it after 11 years

Re: Ebay Payout Survey

I have never in my life seen anyone sell what you sell and if it wasn't for your post on this thread I never would have.

Paranoia?

Those are really the only 3 possibilities.

Your option D is to not complete the survey.

Not hard.

Not paranoia, just irritation with yet another badly worded survey. If they really want to ' understand how we can ...make your experience better" they would allow comments.

I picked option D because, the option " I use paypal for all my online purchases, which are usually not on ebay." was not available.

The survey is for sellers so you're actually just a buyer so the survey isn't for you so why even bother with this thread?

I have sold a lot more than you, going on your feedback. Even on this ID I have a few sales. I also haven't received the survey. Nor would I respond to it, much less post a thread about it.

Re: Ebay Payout Survey

No disrespect instyle, but I can't see anything unusual about the OP's items for sale.  I have sold a few of these myself over the years as do many others.  It may not be to your taste but I don't see any reason for you to comment on it.  I personally probably wouldn't look at a lot of things sold by other sellers.  Also not sure why you prevously said he was not a seller when he obviously is.

Re: Ebay Payout Survey

I've been on managed payments for ages and still sell just as consistently to international customers without changing any of my listing practices. Not sure where you're going wrong.

What? because in post #9 he mentioned he'd rather have D which he purchases but not on ebay so you need to read the posts properly and regarding items for sale that I haven't ever seen before was towards another poster not the OP seriously the claws are coming out aren't they meeooow.

Sorry kat if you decide to read this haha

I know you're a seller but in your post #9 you'd rather there was an option D which I was commenting about which was about buying according to your options so why whinge about a survey for selling and wish you had another choice about buying.

Make up your mind.
