Ebay account originally opened on US site

Hi,

I have just started listing items to sell and I see that my limits are based in $US. My Ebay account was opened in US site in 1998.

Is this going to cause me any problems --- ie getting limits increased etc? Anything else I should know about

Thanks

Adrian

Selling limits are always based on $US, as are your sales summaries.

Your account shows AU since 1998.

If you have just started listing then yes you will be placed on a selling limit.

But once you have been asked to go to Managed Payments and register then you will get 250 000 free listings, but until then you will be limited.

You can always apply for a selling increase you need to contact ebay and ask them.

Good luck

Thanks... I new about the limits... I only ask because when I was checking everything out. I came across a "sellers wallet" (or something like that / of course I cant find that page right now) - it said that I had to update the preferences on the original site that I started the account on?

thanks

Click on the account in your home page and then click on the options that may be of help for example click on site preferences and see if that helps?
