Ebay adjusts DSRs in seller's favour sometimes...

I just got an email from eBay explaining that they:

'took the following actions to benefit your seller performance record:
-Removed low detailed seller ratings
 -Item as described: 1
 -Communication: 1
Note that these removals were the result of patterns identified by eBay's
detection systems and/or cumulative reports from you and other sellers.
They may be related to transactions that occurred any time over the past
several months.

We excluded low detailed seller ratings or cases you got during this
evaluation period simply because they were left by too few buyers.'

I must admit, this is nice. But it does make me wonder who gave me those DSRs, and why they would give me positive feedback if there was such a problem?

Anyone know how to tell who leaves what DSRs? I know it's supposed to be anonymous, but there might be some trick to it.

Ebay adjusts DSRs in seller's favour sometimes...

Ah, found it, post #49

"I would like to go back to the title of this thread, why should ebay adjust any sellers DSRs?

It is the opinion of a buyer and if the seller has done it correctly 500 times but stuffs up badly with buyer 501 then buyer 501 should have the right to rate their transaction and their rating stay, not adjusted by ebay because it is not in line with the first 500."
