Ebay and PayPal now seperate companies

Can Ebay continue to force sellers to accept payment by Paypal as the preferrde method of payment?

If so is it legal?

CanEbay access sellers Paypal account to withdraw and place on hold payments ?

Can you please point out where I said anything about open invoices?

What has Open Invoicing got to do with anything that PJ has said?"

My link, Lyndal, gave an example whereby the "vast majority" of ebay users in the 2nd biggest EU trading place did not

use paypal but used other payment methods contrasting PJs statement.

She bought up other trading places.... not me.

I also suggested that open invoices were a far, far safer method for buyers to purchase and if they were available on other ebay sites then the "vast majority" of buyers would use that payment mode leaving PP out in the cold

If ebay was truly driven by buyer purchase security (as they tout) rather than peripheral profit then they would have

allowed the open invoice system to be used on those sites previously to paypals sale although, since the PP sale I can

now see the open invoice system coming as ebays new scammer panacea)

..... I detest hypocrisy and this is just another example of what ebay is best at.

Petrhaps one did have to open a Paypal account at some point but as I already had a UK Paypal accont and offered it as a payment method right from the start I wouldn't have been in that position.

just one independant link to some figures that confirms that the vast majority of users preferred PP over other payment

methods might help as well.

I showed you mine...... now you show me yours
