I have a current Westpac bank account that my Ebay payments go into which is a personal account. I recently opened a new business account with the same bank and upgraded my Ebay to business. After around 8 phone calls to Ebay support and 4 I.T. tickets, I have still not been able to connect the new account up and no real answer given by Ebay as yet.
Has anyone else had problems with connecting up a Westpac Business account? It works seamlessly with other programs.

Its not just an account that can receive payments, can it also make payments (from secondary source), there are accounts and it is a BSB thing that restricts two way transactional.
Lookup on the BSB lookup site and see what payment methods it allows.

Please be aware that once you've upgraded your personal account to a business account, it won't be possible to revert back to a personal account.

sugar249... so I wonder why after so many months of trying, Ebay have not been able to recognise my new Westpac Business account, but have no problems with my Westpac personal account! Obviously it can be done if you have it working, but it is saying it doesn't recognise or support my BSB

Are you leaving out the - in the BSB or including it?

I am putting in the BSB and have tried many variations over the past 5 months, including 8/9 phone calls to support who at one stage told me I had to go to a different bank!!! I have many times tried both manual and by selecting the bank, I have ensured that my names all line up with both ebay and the account, I have tried by-passing the wifi, I have tried 3 different browsers, I have tried doing it while logged into my bank at the same time. Grrr...

Yes, to highlight what sugar249 has said, it must be an account from which eBay can also withdraw payments in the event of a problem - refund, etc.
