I have 11 listings on auction and 10 of them have bids, but now only 3 are showing up in search so I have a bad feeling I won't sell them for much due to them not being seen by potential buyers.
How can Ebay do this and why is Ebay doing this? Or is it a glitch?

Ebay you can go get **bleep**ed as the listings were not visible until the end of the auction and I have received peanuts for my listings because of this .
I will never sell on ebay again and I will be taking this matter as far as I can, this is total bull**bleep**.

Listings were not identical as I added extras in the title.
I have no restrictions that I know of.
I can't believe what has just happened and I will not be honouring the sales and I don't give a **bleep** what happens from here on as ebay will pay for what they have done.

I sympathise with you OP but eBay has been known to hide the listings of new accounts for longer periods than they might otherwise.
It has happened to me on a new account once and my listings were hidden for around the first 24 hours of the listing.
When I followed up the reason that eBay gave me was that the listings on a new flagged account undergo more vigourous Trust and Safety bot scrunity.
Given your account's "identity" problem that you recently posted about OP it is highly likely your account is still under this additional scrunity IMO.

Unless it's changed very recently, I thought the rule with duplicate auctions is that only one listing will show but when it gets a bid the next one will show, and when that one gets a bid the third one will show, and so on. As each one gets a bid the next one will show, but I always took this to mean that all the ones with bids should be showing.
I don't really trust the system to work properly so I avoid having different quantities of the same item wherever possible. I've had a theory for a while that this is why sellers with the same items on different IDs appear to be throttled. I've noticed that quite a few of the sellers who talk about being throttled say they sell the same items on both IDs, just in different quantities. I also don't sell the same types of item on different IDs for this reason.

i thought i read somewhere that if you have duplicate listings violations all your items disappear until you remove the duplicate item.

This issue has now been resolved and ebay has cancelled all the listings.
Cats you are correct in saying that the listings were held back for 24 hours due to scrutiny, which I thought was only 12 hours.
Ebay has also told me to not list for 1 day and to start at 3 days so this issue doesn't happen again.
But I am still expecting negative feedback and defects.
And with duplicate listings not showing until one of them gets a bid I understand that but that wasn't the issue as I listed some of the same items but added an extra dot at the end of the title which then makes it a different listing.

Yes duplicates that are 100% the same but mine were not the same.

It sounds like the listings weren't duplicates.
I forgot about the close to 24hrs being hidden for new sellers. When I set up my new account they would appear between 22 and 24 hours after I sent them live.
That would really explain it for the OP, especially as they were having 1 day auctions. I think it was like that for about 3 months, then they appeared within a few minutes.

You are 100% correct but I din't know this as I thought it was only 12 hours.

But they need to inform the seller that this might happen and that they should list with a longer time frame,(I
mainly list for 7 or 10 days due to the possibility of them being hidden at some point and it suits my time frame).
Having listings disappear for over 8 hours and then being visible again in the last 15 minutes is ludicrous,
There is no way that those listings could have generated enough interest in that time,(hence why they went
for lower than expected prices),
