Ebay makes random copies of posting policies

I have about a dozen Business Postage Postage Policies which cover all aspects of my store.

I regularly find that Ebay makes copies of these policies and randomly allocates some listings into these copies.

So, for example, I have a postage policy set up which covers the postage price, handling etc for my buttons and scrapbooking items.

I've just looked at all my policies and see that Ebay has taken several of my button listings, made a copy of the postage policy and shoved that policy into these listings, even though the policy copy is EXACTLY the same as my original policy.

What is Ebay doing????

And why???

I am so tired of going into the policies and having to readjust the listings and then clean up the copies.

Could it be there is only a limited number of listings per policy ?

No, it just happens at random, usually when listings roll over or relist.

As it makes no difference to the actual postage, we just ignore it, and delete the policies when they don't have any listings attached.
