Ebay managed payments (Australia) Opt out or alternative payment options to bank deposit

Ebay Australia's switch over to managed payments (for my business) is a major impediment not a benefit.

I am a seller who uses my paypal funds received from sales (on a near daily basis) to send payments across the globe primarily for business.

Under the new Ebay managed payments, I will now have to wait up to 2+ business days to now have my sales funds deposited into my bank account from Ebay (maybe another business day before the inefficient banks here process the payment) & then will have to process another transfer back to Paypal (Another 5+ business days) - I now have no other option around this after numerous chats/calls to Ebay customer service/accounts trying to opt out of managed payments or seek an alternative. The current system works well for me, even if I have to pay a higher cost.

As a seller, I personally couldn't care less about Paypal's spin off from Ebay & the 'business rift' that has developed between the two but there has to been an alternative (Hyperwallet etc) or some businesses will suffer from this narrow minded approach & could potentially leave the platform - is this in Ebay's interest?

How childish!   So you don't like to be called out on your statements?

It is always entertaining seeing someone trying to out do one of the most experienced and succinct responders on the eBay boards.

ooooohhh look its the cliquey in club kids high fiving each other, sums up the bases for your statements nicely. Where as my statements are based on me putting my money where my mouth is, after 20 year im closing down my ebay store and moving $40,000+ worth of stock of ebay, because managed payments has made it to dangerous to do business on ebay.

Really ?  The members that have responded to you are hardley "cliquey in club kids", they are members who have a darned sight more knowledge of how eBay operates than you do.

But good luck with other platforms or your website.

I'm actually glad that you have decided to turn on me as well because you say $40 000+ worth of stock haha well I say BS to that amount as I have counted and it's closer to half what you're stating.

And don't forget that's your value which doesn't mean it's mine or anyone else's as items are only worth what a buyer is willing to pay for them.

Keep em com'n or just stay away as you said you're finished with ebay.

Welp, that went well... unsure

I agreed with some things, disagreed with some things, asked for more info about some things, and said "we can't really know that yet" about some other things, and it's descended into Homer-level sarcasm. Or should that be ascended Smiley LOL

After bearing witness to similar performative walkouts on ebay since this was announced, I can only conclude that managed payments has the shape of a bogeyman but is more of a malleable scapegoat - this doesn't apply to everyone leaving ebay over it, but it does seem to be a back-breaking straw for a lot of people; i.e. if you're thoroughly disillusioned with ebay already, it's easier to throw your hands in the air (in fact some may be looking for a reason to) than hop over one more hoop.
