Ebay need to bring the ability for sellers to give bad feedback to non paying buyers...I am getting more and more non payers and no communication from them....I think it would deter people from bidding if they do not intend to pay...Its a big waste of time,,,waiting for the buyer to pay,,,then they dont,,,send another invoice, then another, then sending them a personal email allll to no avail...come on lets get fair here!!!!

I don't know. There is a big difference between buying and selling on eBay.
As a buyer, you are able to choose which seller you buy from, so feedback is quite important.
As a seller, you are NOT able to choose who bids on your item or who clicks the Buy-It-Now button, so feedback isn't really that useful.

@super88denny wrote:You are joking surely? how does blocking buyers who "Have received 2 Unpaid Item strike(s) within 1 Month(s)
Have a feedback score of -1 or lower" help the aggrieved seller?
It means the buyer can't buy from the seller again (if they block them) and other sellers won't be annoyed by a serial pest. I use 2 strikes in 6 months; a lot use 2 in 12 months.
The only aggravation for the seller, really, is having the item out of circulation for 8 or so days.
You can always set your listings up to require immediate payment, which will knock a lot of potential buyers out, as that requires money in Paypal account or a suitable link to instant funding.
i prefer to allow buyers to pay how they want to, even bank deposit or cash on pickup or echeque. Works for me.

Here here !!!!! I have been expressing exactly your feelings and opinions (directly to ebay, on occasions) for some time now.
What I see happening on ebay these days, suggests strongly to me that, despite their pretty 'ebay-speak' when you contact them via Live chat or email, they really don't care about protecting sellers properly and are only interested in buyers of ANY description, regardless of their record of buying conduct.
I have buyer requirements in place which I know does protect me at times, because occasionally I get email from would-be bidders asking why they can't bid on my items. I don't know how many 'slip through the net ' though !!
The issue of non transparency is a significant one and I can think of no good reasons why buyers' previous buying conduct should not be more visible to sellers. Ebay makes a big deal about protecting buyers' privacy but they don't seem to have the same sensitivity about sellers privacy !!
Buyers are not the only ones that act on trust and take a risk when entering into a transaction on eBay. Sellers also rely on trust as a cornerstone to selling on ebay and risk is an issue for them too !! Sellers should therefore have access to the same sort of background information about buyers as buyers have of sellers.

Im looking at opening my own web site very soon .....buyers that come to a website are less trouble than buyers on ebay ......and then I dont have to worry about buyers having a bad day and leaving neg feed back.... plus I get to keep my 10% whichs adds up after a while.... sellers should be able to leave neg feed back .....

Now here is part of the problem. Ebay should fix this.
When someone tries to bid and is blocked because a seller has ticked the option that people with unpaid item strikes be stopped from bidding on their items, wouldn't it be more useful if ebay automatically flashed up that message when someone tries to bid and can't?
The whole crux of discipline is not only exerting it, but making it clear and visible.
If someone went to buy and up flashed a little notice that said "This seller has elected to block bidding from buyers with one or more unpaid item strikes", then they would very soon get the message.
Without that information though, they may very well just think their computer is playing up or ebay isn't working for some reason.
It's not much use having a consequence that the offenders may not even be aware of.

You can also put a block in place to stop anyone with F/B of less than certain amounts & who haven't been through Phone Verification.
This fixed a problem I had with a Serial Pest who kept changing his ID & opening new A/C's every time I blocked him.

Well as you can see from your experience eBay doesnt care about sellers at all , or almost at all .Ebay use to be grat place to sell and buy items all of kind, but in last few years ebay is a online shopping place , so they have to change aproach and keep buyers happy to do shopiung here so they can get they fees into ebay bank account.

The person you replied to wrote ONE message two years ago, it's highly unlikely they will see your reply, especially given it has been nearly that long since they sold anything or visited the forums. If you have an issue with something, start a new thread.
