Ebay shipping reminder to seller

Hello friends,

Does Ebay send a shipping reminder to sellers to ship an item if they still have not posted yet after a certain amount of time has passed long after the item has already been paid?

I don't believe so, it's normally up to the seller to check themselves.

If you are a buyer, message your seller and enquire re postage; they may have simply forgotten to mark it as sent.

If you are a seller, check your items awaiting postage page or check the icon illumination status on your orders page.

I have never received a shipping reminder but if you haven't received your item after the estimated date I usually wait another 5-7 days before I open a case for item not received.

You have 30 days in ebay and 180 days in PayPal to open a case if that helps.

I wait too, but I also send them a message before opening a case. No need to add a refund request to their record if they sort it.
