Ebay sometimes seem very slow to pay money to the seller

After I have sold an item  I usually get immediate payment from the buyer which is held by ebay. I then post the item within a few days and the buyer receives it a few days later. They then post positive feedback. It is at this point that I expect to get paid by ebay who have withheld the funds pending the positive feedback from the buyer. But no... I often have to wait over a week and even then I have to chase ebay for the payment. Sometimes they pay in a few days and other times they said payment would be in 3 weeks until I complained. It seems completely random. The ebay agents can never properly explain what is going on.

Is this on another account?

You only have two recent feedback from buyers

On this account, you would be considered a new seller by eBay, since you last feedback before those two were over a year ago

Positive feedback does not mean your funds get released there and then

you funds are subject to a 30 day hold line every other new seller

positive feedback MIGHT get them released faster, IF you request it

All of which you agreed to when you ticked the box you had read and understood when you listed, and what you agreed to when signing up for Managed Payments

I am not sure why you expect anything other than the above

Unless you are, as I said, talking about another selling account which has more than two recent feedback

1. Because when I first inquired about this matter I was told by an agent that funds would be released once positive feedback had been received.  And that it would be only a few days ; this was incorrect. Or perhaps I misunderstood ?

2. The first item I sold was paid quite quickly even though NO feedback at all has been received....and still has not. This is why I said that it seems quite random.

Anyway, you have explained how it works.
