Enforcing a returns policy

I’ve just read the Spring update.  It would seem to say that all my listings must offer (at least) 30 day returns and that this will be enforced from next March.  Does this only apply to Stores?

I assume that means at the buyer’s expense.  Does the buyer have to prove a valid reason for the return, or just simply they changed their mind?  I’m guessing not because if there was a valid reason for the return then the seller would be obliged to accept it anyway.

I would imagine that a lot of sellers’ profit margins could not comfortably accommodate paying for the postage only to get the item returned.

Fellow travellers, should I be concerned?

Enforcing a returns policy

You can still have "no returns" and also specify not change of mind.

Buyers still can request a refund or return when item not as described or faulty.

OK, silly me. So the new rules only apply if in fact you have a returns policy. But otherwise it's as-you-were. Thank you

"No returns" IS a returns policy and it's one of the accepted policies. It's all there in black & white.
