Hi everyone I’m not sure how to go about this being a reasonably fresh seller with a low rating but someone in America wants to buy an engine off me in Australia sure that’s fine I’m happy to send there but the issue I’m worried about is eBay will hold the shipping funds which would be about $2200/$2500 in cost because it would be a crate sender not the usual post service etc that eBay offers me. I just want a streamlined process is all and that could become quite an issue if handled wrong. Any pointers what should I do? Thanks everyone!

Sorry, but there is no way in the world I would recommend an inexperienced seller sell such a high priced item at all, let alone to a buyer overseas
It is far too risky

PLEASE accept the advice you have been given and change your listing to Australia only. To sell overseas would be inviting disaster. If for any reason the overseas buyer decided that the item was not as described, eBay would refund them instantly and you would have no way of getting your engine back to you here in Oz. At least when selling in Australia you have some chance of having your item returned in the case of a dispute. But selling such a valuable item even within Australia when so inexperienced can be very risky. Unscrupulous people will view such an inexperienced seller as an easy target.

Don’t sell this overseas.
The buyer may be a scammer - or may be genuine - but the potential for disaster is overwhelmingly high. Particularly as you’re inexperienced and selling something expensive, you are a target for scammers.

I'd put money on it being a scammer.

What should you do - is the question asked.
For heavens sake - DON'T.
Australia only - or a site dealing in engines.
