Exorbitant seller fees and unexplicable billing

Why am I getting bills form ebay that are unsubstantiated and I cannot reply and complain? My last bill of fees is $50.54 from gross sales of $201.57.  But if I add all the fees from my sales page it only comes to $11.47. why so big difference and why is ebay not explaining what i am paying for? if I go to a shop and buy things my invoice lists all things i have bought that add to the total sum, but not in ebay billing... why not. Quite frankly 25% fee for all sales is a rip iff, I am thinking of chukking the whole ebay business. I operate on a very thin margin already but I get the feeling that I am only making the fat ebay bossess rich.

she had about 60 listings last week allowing her auctions every 5 and 7 days   and when she says on the 5th post here aproxx  she is getting charged $1..50 to relist    she prob does not have it on auto relist and there are lots of clauces on the extra 3 relist  you can get a credit only if it sells [ she could use 200 to 250 listings a week

I give up, hannu cannot use 200-250 listings a week and get them free.

One of the problems with ebay is that the fee rules are complex and confusing designed to trap unsuspecting seller, I call that a scam whether ebay meant it to be or not. 

Proof of that is that even experienced seller here have disagreements.

I hope ebay reads this.

what do you think i have being saying   she stated why does she gets charged $1.50 when she relists  because she is over the limit 

why i say buy it now is ,you can have it for the whole month whithout relisting it while on auction she puts them at 5 or 7 days

i am not saying the auction price and the bin price are different , i am saying she is better off at 1 bin price a month instead of about 5 auctions a month on the same product 

she does not realise that when an auction finishes and relist them every 7 days its going to cost her a lot of money and thats why she is complaining she has to realise you can only have so many for free

Joe, I will try to make this as simple as possible.

IF YOU HAVE A STORE (you do, the OP does not)

Once you have used your free listing allocation, then you are charged for any NEW listings at $1.50 for auction format and considerably less for BN format.

Some store owners can utilise the free relists, some cannot (seems to depend on turnover and experience in selling) but this only applies to items already listed, if you have used your free allocation, you will still be charged a fee when you create a new listing (and then it can relist three times for free).

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A STORE

Once you have used your free listing allocation, your are charged $1.50 for EVERY new listing regardless of format.  THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN THE LISTING FEE FOR NON STORE HOLDERS FOR BN LISTINGS.

In the OP's case, they will get 40 free listings a month, they can turn on autorelist for those 40 listings, and they will relist 3 time for free.  BUT, if they want to list any more than 40 at a time, it WILL cost them $1.50 for each additional listing.

If he lists for 10 days there will be a 10 day period where the current months lsitings will still be live and the new month's listings can be added, so technically for a ten day period ewach month he could have up to 80 listings without cost, but no more.

Listing fee credits for items that sell the second time around do NOT apply to free listings because they are a credit of the listing fee paid and with free listings there was no listing fee paid and therefore no fee to credit.

what have i been saying she has more than 60 items  now its 50 items  [ all i am saying because she complains about all tgese fees is if she wants to keep all tgese listings and wants to auction each listing from 5 to 7 days  her free list will finish well before the end of the month so if she bins them they will go for more than 7 days at a time   and at the end of the month she will have less relists if her products dont sell, now do you understand   have a nice day
