We had a case the other day where we almost missed sending an item by express mail that a buyer had chosen. Luckily we had not sent out the mail yet and when we noticed it retrieved the envelope and prepared it for express post.
We use SMPro and all our items are "FREE" postage so the only difference you can see on the awaiting shipment list is that amounts in the "Sale Price" and "Total Price" columns are different. The only time these are different for us is when express post has been selected.
There really is no other flag to say that a sales record has got express post chosen. Very easy to miss seeing it. Not the first time its happened and only a matter of time before we totally miss one and get trouble from the buyer (as we should expect to).
Anyone know if there is any option to choose to receive a message from the ebay system when a buyer selects the express post option?
Or some other explicit flag to say this?
Would be great if the web site made that sales record show in a different colour for example. That would grab your attention.
How do others handle this situation?

In the drop down menu under status select - awaiting expedited shipping - to bring up the orders which buyers have paid for express post.

Oh Wow! So simple.
I never even though to look there.
Thank you so much Jens for pointing that out to me.
Now I fell a bit.... "doh" for missing that one.
That will make life much simpler.
