FVF discounts

Does anybody know when sellers will be getting the TRS discount on fvf that USA & Canada get but not us here in Australia.

Re: FVF discounts

probably when they bring in the much higher fvf fees that the amerians already pay (which is a fvf on item PLUS postage)

Id rather stick with the no discount and overall less in fvf, thank you

Re: FVF discounts

Wow, fvf on postage too? don't they get enough of that on Paypal.

I should have known, they don't do anyone any favours.

Thanks for the info ๐Ÿ™‚

Re: FVF discounts

Yeah - be careful what you wish for!

The other thing is that they first have to reset the bar to make TRS much harder. It wouldn't suit them to offer it to too many people.

In fact, they will first have to roll out some more fee increases as well... if you've been on ebay for any length of time you'd know that they always give with one hand and take with the other :^O

Re: FVF discounts

Shhhhh....

We still have it better off than US and UK in terms of fees. The new policies we are seeing for AUS is bringing us closer to them...

Re: FVF discounts

Every time I see someone saying why can't we have something the US or UK site offers I cringe in case ebay actually take notice (not likely I know).

I have not sold here in the UK for years as I would have to sell twice as many things and jump through twice as many hoops to get seller protection just to make as much as I do when I am in Australia. Higher listing fees and 10% FVF for starters!

Why you would want anything the US site offers I cannot imagine!

Please ebay leave the Aus site alone, I would rather have a 100% increase in store fees and keep everything else than be subjected to US or UK policies.
