Anyone see Facebook is going to add a 'Buy' button to their ads? Perhaps this is eBay's karma for their treatment of sellers
With the number of Facebook members you'd have to think in time it could seriously affect eBay's bottom line
They might have to start thinking about reducing fees and stop charging a ridiculous percentage on postage etc etc
With so many disgruntled sellers it will only take the start of a seriously big alternative to see sellers jump ship
I know I would not think twice if there were a viable alternative

i would also be interested in alternatives. But I doubt Facebook is one, given Facebook don't actually provide an online selling venue that is not the equivalent of a local swap meet.
And I don't even need to shout.

Thanks OP for sharing. I do watch out for Facebook developments with some interest. I know several young entrepreneurs who have started small businesses over the past couple of years and have been relatively successful in harnessing a range of Facebook features to build their customer base.
