On My frist run of selling bunch items I clearly got a Non Payer  Grrrrrr

Yes I have all my blocks in place  & have started the NPB Process on the 4th day

I have sent a invoice & 3 emsils & no Response

User Has 277 Feedback as a buyer  You would think with 277  you would know better!!!

& worst part is I got under bidders that were keen for it as well

Why do I bother  with selling when get members that should know better

Rant over.

They are not a non payer until the dispute is closed.

If you had bombarded me with an invoice and three emails on top of the ebay item won notification and reminder at 48 hours all within 4 days then I would probably make you wait until five minutes before the dispute was due to time out before I paid.

Also keep in mind some only go on their computer 1,2 or three times a week.

And that would be spiteful.

OP, a little more patience  might avoid lots of unnecessary trouble - especially  if you don't specify on your listing how long you are giving buyers to pay (5 days, 7 days, etc) but I would hope that your buyer wouldn't retaliate by deliberately drawing it out.  A prompt payment or polite email letting you know that payment will arrive on said day would be much better, and that's how I would respond as a buyer.  (Although immediate payment is my usual thing)

I'd give buyer the benefit of the doubt that they would pay - be careful too, lots of emails asking for payment may result in low communication DSRs.

I think you can close the case after 4 days (it will say you can close case now). Then make second chance offer to the second highest bidder.

My first sale on eBay was bulk kids movie DVDs. And on the next day the auction ended the buyer messaged me "Sorry. I don't have money to pay. Please cancel." But I made second chance offer to the next bidder and sold the DVDs just 50c cheaper than the ending price.

BTW I think one invoice should be enough unless it's pickup item and need to arrange the time and date.  And as kopenhagen said some buyers don't check emails daily. Some buyers might get upset about opening dispute on 4th day too.

Sometimes bombarding people for payment is not a good idea, If your terms says 7 days, I only have the reminder that gets sent because the buyer knows the conditions. If i dont get payment in 7 days, I open a dispute.

Nobody here was being nasty, as you are a new seller, they were offering advice from a buying point of view
