Fastways

Don't buy from people who use them. Simple.

There's a decade old thread about them still being bumped, so it's not new. Or news.

Didn't know they used them til after sale. Will in future enquire before I purchase. Have read the reviews and I'm not alone. Also the trouble started way before the fires did so they can't blame those. Thanx for your view altho a bit harsh.

I just wanted to mention that either you have been waiting an incredibly long time for your package, or you are underestimating how long the bushfires have been affecting the nation.

The fires got serious in September. Bad stuff happened in October. Firefighters from other Australian states and foreign nations were brought in during November.

Australia Post deliveries to ACT have been halted altogether. Potentially, this could mean delays accross the nation because mail and parcels still get sent to ACT and Auspost has to hold them until deliveries resume. This means that sorting facilities accross the nation would be filling up. That sort of chaos can cause all sorts of delays. I know Auspost is not Fastway, but they are surely facing similar disruptions.

So, honestly, the Bushfires are a pretty plausable excuse for a delayed shipment. Having said that, I would be asking fastway for an update.

Personally, I don't mind using fastway as a buyer because I understand that I need to be a bit more patient getting my delivery and it probably saved me a few dollars. As a seller though, I don't use Fastway because my customers are my priority. Don't worry though, Fastway are going to fix their problems:

"Over the next 12 months, the familiar Fastway blue and red will be replaced with the Aramex red and white as we begin the process of rebranding to Aramex Australia."

Changing colours is gunna give the drivers a whole new mindset about deliveries?

I think not somehow.

I didn't mean THIS parcle has t aken from before fires, i meant I've had trouble with fastway from before fires. I wouldnt mind waiting as long if i knew what was happening but no one ever answers questions and tracking is not up dated. One minute its in sydney or Melbourne  and weeks later with no info theres a note on door to contact someone because you missed delivery. Missed it becauuse didn't know it was coming. Australia post are the opposite they notify almost every step of the way and are soooo much faster. Thankyou for your input but I also dont think their name or colours are the problem they need to improve customer service. BIG TIME. .

Ah, that makes more sense. I must have missed a context clue or something.

But do Fastway? Or do they think rebranding themselves will solve their problems?
