Sold an item on ebay. The item was delivered. Positive feedback received but Paypal are still holding my funds. I have lost any trust in ebay. I understand that some steps need to be taken for security sake and I'm comfortable with that. The item was delivered, approved and with pos F/B. Any further sales I make will be paid by EFT next time. Can't trust ebay or paypal now.

I just don't think it's right that people should be rude to new members who come here asking for help. Company message boards are usually run by the company. It stands to reason that people assume it's the same for these message boards. There is nothing to say that they are not run by ebay.
I don't think Sandy means for her posts to sound abrupt, but at times they come across that way.
Me, I have a very thick skin already.
That is good, you may need it. People generally stick up for themselves here.
The boards are run by khoros not eBay just FYI and if you think a post is offensive you can report it, no need to moderate 🙂

How does one 'ring' them? I'm in the same boat and the site doesn't respond to their request to update my details. Can't find a number to ring anywhere.

Hi
as a long time seller here (private, not commercial) I can say that over time the experience for sellers has gone down and down and down.
I think it all seemed to go bad when they stopped allowing paypal to be the arbiter of these things and made themselves some sort of escrow agent.
Less and less do I want to sell anything here, not because of buyers (who are largely fantastic) but because of eBay themselves.
If I lived in the USA I'd cease selling on eBay, but in Australia there just aren't sufficient alternatives.
