Hi there, I have sold an item, posted the item, provided tracking and the item has safely been delivered and the buyer had told me it has arrived and he is happy with the item, however, my funds are on hold and it says that it has been sent and not delivered.
my funds are on hold. How do I let eBay know the buyer has already received the item?

You are a new or infrequent seller, I believe? Read this: https://www.ebay.com.au/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold/payments-hold?id=481...
Also read this if youโre not yet signed up and verified for Managed Payments: https://www.ebay.com.au/help/selling/getting-paid/registering-seller?id=4792
Make yourself aware of eBayโs selling policies and updated T&Cs. Things have changed considerably.

Also, did you actually upload the tracking to eBay, or jut give the details to the buyer in a message
You can't just 'tell' eBay the buyer has received it, you need to be able to prove it, using the tracking
Did you mail over the counter or just drop it in a red box?
Did you use an eBay label ?
But as mentioned, you are considered a new seller by eBay, so you funds would still be on hold regardless
