Getting a Refund in Managed Payments .

The other week I had a seller give me a $40 refund for overcharged postage fees on multiple orders.

No big deal , but I am really confused now as to exactly where the $40 went .

I paid the seller via Pay Pal out of my bank account .

Since moving to Managed Payments this is what I do as my Pay Pal balance is always zero these days.

Pay Pal shows that I received $40 refund in - to Ebay.

After that its just disappeared  ,  nothing deposited into my bank account or added to my Payments recieved section in Ebay.

Where did it go ??????

Managed payments should have nothing to do with it, as it only relates to payments you receive as a seller.

Any chance the  $40.00 after being refunded to PP, has been used to fund or part fund another purchase.

Note the refund would not be payed into your managed payments, as it is not a sale.

If you paid via PayPal backed up by a credit card it will go back to the funding source.

But it can take 3-5 working days depending on which bank you are with.
