Hi so I am trying to sell this desk since December and It's almost the end of January so how much did I mess up my listing? Does anyone know why no one likes my desk? It's a very productive piece!🤓

The photo is a mess, full of stuff that is not actually what you are selling would be an instant turn off for many potential buyers

Nobody who wants one is willing to travel to your area to pick it up

Given the sharp rise of the amount of people working from home over the last two years, most people who need one likely already have one

Nobody wants to pay that much for a second hand one

A month is nothing in eBay land, especially when Christmas was included

Clear the clutter off it, and put it somewhere where there are no other items. Against a plain white wall is best. Make sure it is dusted and clean and that only what is included is in the picture.

In your heading, I would recommend you adjust it slightly to say P/Up only "4113" (whatever your postcode is).

If you get a buyer, make sure you arrange cash on pickup. Alternatively, if they pay via Paypal, they need to come with a special QR code and a 6 digit code that Ebay will send them and which you enter into the app on your phone. This will confirm that they have picked it up and minimise any issues.

As an alternative, why not also offer it on your local FB Marketplace?
