Golden opportunity missed re wording of DSRs

Why, oh why did ebay NOT take the opportunity when rejigging the Seller Dashboard format to change the wording of the category of POSTAGE TIME to something like LODGEMENT TIME.

Its not as if they haven't had enough comment about it from sellers and there really is no logical or reasoned argument why they shouldn't. Afterall they are always on about how they want feedback to be an ACCURATE profile of seller performance. A change as indicated above would make the profile more accurate or at least to a move in the right direction.

Re: Golden opportunity missed re wording of DSRs

The point is the majority of buyers are not reading it correctly. As such it should be reworded so there can be no mistakes and the practice of ruining sellers DSR's for a third party's delivery times is stopped

Re: Golden opportunity missed re wording of DSRs

How quickly did the seller post the item?

How much more explicit would they need to make it?

I doubt  "How quickly did the seller lodge/mark as posted" would be any more effective. What they should do is automatic 5star anything where a tracking number is uploaded within the sellers' handling time. But that is also fraught as C&S upload the tracking number when the item is manifested, not when it is lodged. There was a question the other day where the seller had given the buyer a tracking number, but it was, a week later, still only showing 'initiated' or whatever term AP use for manifested these days.

And betty WAS talking about the seller dashboard disaster, not what buyers see when they leave feedback.
