I think its fantastic triple the price of shipping, Put up ebay fees to 25 percent and shut the lot of you shonky chinese garbage sellers and shonky secondhand dealers down and out of business and send you out to actually work for a living. Hope it kills the lot of you of you disgusting leaches. No a leach wouldnt suck as much blood as you lot do. Hahahaha suck it up hope its the end for the lot of you. Go find out what work is.
Peachy as ever, with just about the most generous side of keen I've seen.
Just a quick pro-tip for future reference - if you want to troll the forums, it works a lot better if you at least try to make it look like you know what you're talking about. ๐

'Extra Cover' is available, but it's always said that and it's never been for satchels or flat rate boxes
Extra cover was available, you just needed to tick the box on the red lodgement form, the same one you use for registered, that said click & send and pay for the extra cover over the counter when you lodged the satchel or box.

No it hasn't. If you have been paying for this then you've been wasting your money. Multiple frustrated calls and emails to the Click & Send helpline confirmed that it was NOT available for flat rate boxes and satchels.

Confirmed. That's been the big downside of flat rate satchels and boxes.
If you selected Tracking & Signature for flat rate you were covered up to
$100 Standard flat rate has no cover any more beyond compensation
for the 'cost of postage' ( whoopdeedo ).

(please ignore above as I forgot to say ebay satchels)
Sorry guys if this has been stipulated clearly somewhere but can someone tell me if the basic click and send (ebay satchels/boxes) will INCLUDE compo cover and if so will it be $50 or $100?
Or will one HAVE to purchase the 'signature on delivery' @ $2.95 extra to have any kind of cover?

@digital*ghost LOL hit a nerve did I LOL enjoy it. Go get a job.
If you had hit a nerve, my post would be responding to what you actually said and/or trying to defend either myself or other eBay sellers against it. You're wasting your time if you're trying to inflame me - our first interaction on these boards some months ago ended with me understanding it is a complete waste of time to give your input here any credit, or to respond to the content thoughtfully, or to - indeed - treat your intentions for posting with any respect at all.
I do, every now and then, find myself with spare scooby snacks, though, and thought I'd toss a few your way - you seemed to want them so darn much.
Enjoy the salty goodness. ๐

The mention of $100 included insurance has been removed for signature on delivery, and there is no way to add any extra cover at all. It looks like now it might fall under the usual max. $50 compensation that AP offer for their general products.

Thanks, wheres-my-jumper, I couldn't find any mention of 'included compo' on any of the links I looked at. I always thought tracking/$100 compo was an 'automatic' part of Click and Send or available as an AFFORDABLE add on but my info may be wrong. Or maybe I am confusing it with Platinum Express.
Does Australia Post ('at their discretion') still cover for up to $50 on ordinary items where there is some kind of proof of sending such as a post office receipt or did this die with the dinosaurs?
I am going to my local PO today with a list of questions.

$100 insurance used to be included with signature on delivery, but not any more. AP do still cover general items up to $50 but try their best to not let it be known.
On another note, the new printable labels are stupidly small and leave hardly any space for a signature.
