Help!! buyer paid but doesn't show in paypal. What do I do?

Hi.  I just sold my item and the buyer paid with PayPal.  But it does not show up in my paypal balance.  (I'm REALLY new, so my balance is $2 at the moment!)  On ebay, it shows instead of a dollar sign meaning that the payment has occurred, it shows an hourglass symbol.  (see attachment)    What does this mean?  do I wait for payment before i ship, or is it as good as received already?  Thanks for any help!

Did you receive a payment notification email from PayPal?

If it says you've received an eCheque payment then you need to wait until the payment is cleared before you post. The estimated date will be on the email.

If you haven't received an email then you need to check what PayPal address you had on the listing.
