Annual Price Review notification
We review our prices annually to make sure we can continue delivering reliable services for customers across Australia, while keeping prices as affordable as possible.
As part of our Annual Price Review, we'll be increasing our standard retail prices for domestic and international parcels, from which your MyPost Business rates are calculated, effective 1 July 2026.
The following price changes will apply:
We recognise that many customers and businesses are facing ongoing cost pressures, which is why any price change is carefully considered. Last year, we made a deliberate decision to keep the Annual Price Review increase below inflation.
Savings for MyPost Business will remain unchanged across bands 1 to 5, so you'll continue to receive savings on eligible products and services. Domestic and International Extra Cover and Signature on Delivery (SOD) service prices will also remain unchanged. Please read the MyPost Business Rates and Savings Guide for further detail.
You can find more information about our retail price changes by visiting www.auspost.com.au/pricing-updates.

And an express parcel that I sent 2 days ago is now lost somewhere. And it was going to Melbourne, not some remote place. 😠

And have a look at the green & white pre-paid envelopes:
I won't be shelling out $100 up front any more just to save 25c a pop. Not worth it with sales so slow.

Melbourne to Albury via Sydney / Perth / Sydney / Perth / Albury... 26 days.
Yes, it criss crossed the continent 4 times I was 'unofficially informed'.
I demanded refund and they refused. They removed the tracking page, funny that ?
But I had screen shot it and said I would post it (pardon pun) to social media.
Refund received and returned to buyer as courtesy, who, was so patient...

I will be using parcels exclusively for tracked items once my prepaid tracked envelopes run out.

Yes, I was thinking along those lines too.
What annoys me, is that they use the fact that letters are losing them money so they have to increase the costs, but they are making an absolute fortune out of parcels but don't decrease the cost, which would happen if they were consistent with their logic.
