Hi :) Just a quick question - re keyword spamming...

Hey people.

It's been a VERY long time, but I still recognize a few names on the boards - HI Bump, PJ and Lyndall *waves*

Just quickly - I haven't been around ebay much for over a year and see some changes.... I am noticing that a lot of listings have what used to be "illegal" stuff in the titles/listings -

for example - (not an actual title this is one I made up as I don't want to draw attention to anything)

"NIKE - like shoes - similar to NIKE"

Is this now allowed?

TY 🙂

hi Lovecat, NO no no, it is not allowed, but many sellers, especially those not from australia are getting away with it all the time.

Hi :) Just a quick question - re keyword spamming...

🙂 Hi Putney!

Yep - that about sums it up then.

I'm just doing some market research before listing, and when I searched a few of the items I have to sell SO many came up like that I was a bit surprised, not all were international sellers though.

I wondered what the heck was happening!!!

So I can assume the basic selling rules haven't changed all that much then LOL
