Yeh well I just received a demand of money back because the item
didnt work as well as someone elses.
Or not as well as he'd hoped.
Possibly he aint using it right or is not use to using
it as some items take a bit of practise to get the hang of.
Ghzzz, fed up with the money back guarantee thing.
This will be the 3rd n its starting to cost me heaps.

Yes, they can get a refund.
This happened to me a couple of months ago. Tracking showed delivered with the buyers name and signature. Buyer claimed they never received it and got their money back with the ebay money back guarantee.
I lodged a dispute which I won as I had three items of proof showing delivery so the decision was reversed on 21 July. Unfortunately I am still waiting for ebay to give me my money back. I send 5 emails a day and get 5 replies every day saying be patient the refund will be processed in 7-10 days or within 48 hours (depends who replies as to what answer I get)
Last week I told them I contacted the FOS and Dept of Fair Trading. I got two emails back pretty much strait away, one saying the refund will be processed within 48 hours and another from a "supervisor" saying he personally put the refund request through and will be following up with this matter. This was last Thursday and still no refund.

We have many new postal delivery contractors on 457 visas earning peanuts. Is it too big a step to think that they may be marking an item as delivered, but instead keeping it to re-sell? It just seems strange that these contractors can make a living off such low delivery rates to such remote regions from their delivery centres.
