On the bright side buying has been good

I have been selling on ebay for about 10 years now. I think that ebay is trying tocater towards the big sellers eg well known shops and is starting to turn out a bit like Amazon. In all the years I have been selling I have NEVER had such a bad run. Even my first month selling on ebay was better than the last 30 days. I sold one item for $15 in a whole month. My bill for the month? $75! I am at my wits ends as far as selling is going. I know of several sellers who have jumped ship. I think the days of smaller sellers is over, but I truely hope Im wrong!

Something definitely amiss, sales in the last week or so have been the worst in over 2 years.

Sales, what is that?
Actually, it is little bit better than January, but January was totally dismal................ 😐

Real B & M stores are practically giving stock away to keep
up cash flow. The prices are bordering on impossible in terms
of maintaining operating expenses let alone profit.
Robbing Peter to pay Paul only works as a short term solution.
Ebay 'steering' buyers off shore isn't helping either.
On my main selling ID I am down 60%.
Monthly ebay fees averaged $1100 now around $300
In these times there are also a great many people selling
anything and everything just to pay the bills.

The only difference between me and a madman is that I am not mad.
Do you have documentary proof? 😉 Given you post on eBay boards. :^O

Even though there is a semi-official thread for sales, I will state that January far exceeded Jan 12 and that February is looking to do the same. Not counting $30 a month increased shop fees over that time. So, treading water.
