How come I cant leave feedback on someone who reneged on a deal. They had the winning bid, bid twice

How come I cant leave feedback on someone who reneged on a bid. They bid twice and won over another bidder and then said they did not want the item. The second bidder got one from somewhere else so now I am stuck with the item. I should be able to leave feedback stating what happened with this buyer, but I can't. Why not?

There is no option to leave a buyer anything other than positive feedback. 

If it has been 4 days since the sale, you can open an unpaid item dispute, then close it after another 4 days to get a refund of the final value fee and relist.

Sellers can not leave neg feedback as this was stopped a few years ago.

Did you open non payer disputes after 4 days from time and date of sale and then 4 days later from time and date of opening the dispute close them?

By doing this you give the buyers non payer strikes, you get your fees back and they are blocked from being able to leave feedback.

Put in place the blocks to stop non payers that have been issued strikes from being able to buy from you.

To put these blocks in place hover your mouse over account in your my eBay page and from the drop down click on Site Preferences then go down the list till you see Buyer requirements and to the right of that click on show then click on edit. From there you can put in place the blocks you want, to stop those you want to block from purchasing from you.

thanks for the responses, kinda makes feedback irrelevant doesn't it? If u can only give positives, whats the point? Anyway, I did like u said and got the fees refunded but still it rankles.

you are letting this non-payer get to you.  Let it go, choose to not let them rankle you.  Once you are able to let these things go you will be surprised at how little they will bother you.  Just do the case, get your fees refunded, and move on.  Don't give them the time of day.
