I recently sold some PC games & as I had not seen payment I contacted PayPal to find out what the issue was. The woman I spoke to explained that I HAD een paid but to an inactive email account. I was confused as I had changed my email address with PayPal AND eBay when the old email address was closed (carrier change).
The woman at PayPal then explained that even though I had told PayPal & eBay about the email change, I also had to go to a different section of eBay to enter the address for accepting PayPal payments...all very confusing!
Anyway, I can't find it! I have found the place to change my regular eBay email address & it is correct (which I knew already as I am etting email notifications from eBay)...so can anyone point me in the right direction?????
P.S. PayPal have fixed the problem at their end (they pushed the payment through for me immediately & I will go to the post office as soon as the kids wake up from their nap) so I am not sweating on payment or anything, just wanting to change it so this doesn't happen again!

The most likely answer to this is that you didnt actually check what Paypal email address was on the listing itself. Even if you change all your email addresses in eBay and Paypal you still need to check on the listing page as you go through the listing process to make sure the old one is not on there.

Payment Address is held in the listing itself. This is by design, so you can have different payment addresses for different items.
You probably can use the Bulk Edit tool to update all your listings to your new Paypal email. You may need to customise.

You MUST also update all templates, and be careful of any old item that you relist.
The easiest solution is to leave your old email address in Paypal just in case.
