Hi im new to selling and in the most part its been good but it seems there are alot of buyers that double buy and only pay for one item and then there is the buyers that say you sent the wrong color (so on) i even have one buyer that keeps wanting free replacements for all types of reasons..

So how do all the sellers handle these type of buyers??

How do all you seller deal with it

Nearly all my items are sent using click & send so buyers cannot claim item not received. For cheap items that will post as a large letter I send without tracking as long as my profit margin allows for sending a replacement by registered letter, if it isn't then I register the first letter.

As for them saying it is the wrong colour (and don't anyone dare mention ceriseX-() I would tell them to return it and if indeed it is not the colour ordered I will send the correct one and refund the return postage. With my items it would be very difficult to send the wrong colour so I would probably ask for a photo.

While I believe in good customer service there is no way I will let a buyer cost me money unless I am 100% sure I have made a mistake.

Youy just need to navigate interpret ebays obfuscated oxymoron "help" sections

http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/pay/require-immediate-payment.html

As a seller of an auction-style Buy It Now listing or a fixed price (Buy It Now) listing, you have the option of requiring a buyer to pay immediately with PayPal before that buyer can purchase your item. You might use this feature if you're selling a time-sensitive item or if you want to avoid unpaid items. This feature is only available for PayPal payments.

Please note although the "feature" is only available for paypal payments.....

that does not mean you can not include immediate payment as a term and conditon of your sale

...it just means you cannot use ebays feature to promote it.

You can require buyers to email you a copy of the bank transfer or manual bank deposit receipt

If you do, however, include such a requirement for immediate payment, you have no way to enforce it. The buyer, in all instances except the official instant payment feature, has 4 days to pay before you can even open a dispute and another 4 days after that to pay if they wish to string it out that long.

Once they do pay, if you don't send the goods they can leave negative feedback. And probably would. And report you for non-performance.

There is really no point including unenforceable terms in your listings. In fact, it is really good to minimise that part of your listings.
