Oooohhh yeah, I like how you think! Very good idea. I think a special effect would be far better than the regular smooth finish of the paint.

Tippy, maybe you could use a Rainbow Lorikeet instead of a Rainbow Roller, that would give you a nice flutter effect to your painting.
who woulda thought a thread about cheap postage would lead us to using a bird as a paintbrush....oh magoo youve done it again LOL

but david, it has taken four years for this thread to evolve into this . . . . . even before paint references became a thing of folly.

Mmmmm, I love paint, especially with added sugar.

At a pinch David, Batgirl the Brave Painter can be utilised instead of a Lorikeet or two, she's proven her astounding ability over the last week here...............sigh.
Seen here prior to painting...........................

I want to see her AFTER she's been painted.

She becomes "A Colourful Identity" at that point Tippy........................I'll try to get pics, but she tends to present her rear end for inspection when I do that .............................

Because they are lying about the item location, its coming from China... There are more and more sellers like this on ebay, saying they are located in Australia.. Apparently heaps of Chinese sellers are registering accounts at Darwin address's....
And why so Cheap for them to post? its all handle by Auspost once it arrives here.... According to Auspost, our post is so expencive because we are subsidizing these guys.. So, its a double whammy for us........ We cant compete seller wise because we are paying their post... How screwed up is that?
I know this is the case in one of my main categories.
The sellers list items as located in Darwin, the sellers (and most of their other items) are in China (or hong Kong or Malaysia).
So they buy in very high quantities and get good wholesale price.
List and sell in high quantities and get Ebay and PP discounts.
And post from China with cheap (subsidised) postage.
These sellers even have feedback saying that the items were posted from China, though stated as in Darwin.
I've complained to Ebay, and they DO NOTHING.
This is happening in more and more categories. Very hard to compete.
