How do you get a totally white background with photos?

How does one get a totally white background behind photos? Is there a special app that assists with this. I use a mac.

I have trialled a range of programs.  I find the quickest and easiest ever is a web based free in-development program, recommended on the Powersellers Board.

Not sure when they are going to move from the free alpha stage to user pays.  But I am so impressed with how easy it is, I think I'd pay a small subscription.

Oh and just another tip re clipping magic ... don't use the blue button to choose and upload photos, just drag and drop your photos onto page - much quicker !!!!!

I use a program called Bling it very ebay freindly they have a trial version for you to use.
