These have been driving me crazy for a while.
The sponsored ads bar that pops up just a few seconds after you open your messages inbox.
It causes the screen to jump down and most often I am clicking my next choice just as the screen jumps and I find I have clicked something I did not even want.
I installed Adblock Plus for all my browsers (it is a different installation for each browser you use).
But I found these ads were still appearing. I thought it was because they were embedded into the page by ebay that adblock could not block these ads. Wrong!!!
So I did some reading and found that there is an option in adblock settings "allow some non-intrusive advertising".
Uncheck this box and these annoyances disappear. Woohoo!
