My customer recently purchased some books and paid for them in full. However the customer contacted me with a request, she said she wants to pay extra for express post in order to (hopefully) get the items before Christmas.
Since she has already paid, how do I revise the invoice so that I can add the extra costs for express postage? I know that I could just give her my BSB and account number so she can give me the money directly, but I fear that this could land me in trouble because ebay might view this as a way to avoid their system.

You can't revise the invoice after payment. You can do as suggested and send your bank details, or PayPal details if you have it. Or, you can cancel the sale, she can repurchase with the express postage amount. If the size of the parcel is over 500g, then in reality, the extra for express isn't very much. A couple of dollars. Maybe just pay it and send it without the hassle of the above? I bought an item last Friday. I paid standard post. The seller sent it express from interstate and it arrived Monday!

Your buyer would be very lucky to see it before Xmas, it is Wed.

You can do a special listing for your buyer - "special llisting for xx) and have the postage price. Then let her know the item number so that she can pay quickly so you can post today.
Remember that this will cost you ebay fees tho.
