I've rummaged around Paypal and can't figure out how to do this:
For accounting purposes I want a report of all my Paypal payments this financial year, with the fees listed separately. I read somewhere that the Paypal History has a separate column for fees, but I don't see that. All I see is Net Amount - not even the full payment amount. I don't want to go into each payment individually to find the fees. I need a summary list.
Also, with Paypal Reports is there a way to download all Payments Received as a csv report file without all the extra lines that prevent me summing the column in Excel? For example, when I download the report, a single transaction might looks like this:
Joe Blow .... PayPal Express Checkout Payment Sent .... USD -13.07
From Australian Dollar .... Currency Conversion .... USD 13.07
To US Dollar .... Currency Conversion .... AUD -13.22
All three lines refer to the same transaction and all I care about is the last one. I can't sum the column when there are so many repeated lines.

I have had to look at every sale to find out what fees were charged. The paypal fees are 2.4% plus $0.30 for receiving payments.

If you open the payment notice in your PP account by clicking on Details it shows you the fee that was deducted from the payment.
Example.
Total amount: | $98.50 AUD |
Fee amount: | -$2.66 AUD |
Net amount: | $95.84 AUD |

In PayPal you can download a Monthly Sales Report which will give you daily and monthly totals for Payments Received and Fees Paid.
We enter the monthly PayPal totals into our Accounting program as well as the monthly totals for bank payments received and cash sales to get total Sales Income.

To download the Sales Report

Select month

use dropdown arrow to select Excel or CSV and click Download

When I go to
PayPal menu > My Account > History
there is no "Reports" option.
My options under the History menu are Basic Search, Download History, and Tax Documents.
Download History gives me the reports area, which I've already tried (I have downloaded a couple of CSV reports), but it doesn't give any fees in the results.
Tax Documents for 2012 says I have no tax documents...so I don't know what's supposed to be there.

I really wanted something I can use for tax purposes - as in, a document or "evidence" of the fees charged.
Does Paypal take 2.4% of the postage cost as well?

If you subscribe to sales reports, every month you will be sent sales and fees paid for both ebay and paypal. Sales Reports Plus

Yes 2.4% of the total that you receive which includes the postage.Ebay do not charge a fee for postage but their fee is around 9.9% of the sale price

I'm so confused right now and eBay has just conned me out of $6.99 pm as well. I tried to subscribe to the free Sales Reports, which this page says will give me monthly reports with all eBay and Paypal fees:
http://sellercentre.ebay.com.au/sales-reports
So I went to subscribe and it didn't give me the option (because I guess I am already subscribed to it, with my Store subscription?? Even though I can't find where to get monthly reports), instead it subscribed me to Sales Reports Plus for $6.99 pm.
And now it won't let me switch back to Sales Reports because it says Sales Reports Plus "since it is included in your eBay Store subscription." It's not "included" - they're charging $6.99 pm for it! (Not that I can even find where it tells me how much all up I'm paying per month for my subscriptions.)
Anyway, my question is: Can I in fact get monthly sales reports including Paypal and eBay fees from Sales Reports, and if so, how? Or do I need Sales Reports Plus?
