Recently all of my listings changed to include "free local pick up". This lead to someone in another state bought something without realising that pick up was very far from where they lived. I have ended all of my listings to try to clean up this "free local listing" option. Basically I do not want people picking up because I do not live close to the city. Now when I re-list an item the "free local pick up" is still there even though it does not appear in the postage details I have chosen. Does anyone know how to stop the "free local pick up"? I have been online with Ebay chat but can't find my way around this.

They're probably 'fiddling.'
My 'ended items' from lunchtime yesterday have all been changed from 10 day auctions to 7, and have 'make an offer' enabled (none of which I do).

It looks like that worked. I'll look very carefully with future listings. Something seems to have changed in the listing menu and this "free pick up" seems to be automatic has to be un-ticked.
And to TWYNGWYN: yes auctions shorten from 10 to 7 days automatically if something does not sell the first round. And I too found best offer on listings where the selling amount is already pretty low. You need to un-tick that in the preferences. This can be hard to find at first look.
