A buyer sent me an offer asking me to email them since they had 'additional questions' on the item I'm selling. I initially accepted the offer but cancelled after realizing what was happening - is there any way I can report the account? The account won't show up in the report a buyer page since they didn't buy anything.

Well then - no - there is no way to report the buyer's account.
I hope you cancelled with ' problem with buyer's address '.

I do not know about that,if they have not bought anything
But what you are selling is a magnet for scammers, especially when the seller is new
As an aside however in the neg feedback you left you state
You can set a reserve price on auctions for this very reason
No, you can't
There are no reserves on eBay Australia except for things like real estate and cars
Certainly not possible on trading cards
So don't further confuse an inexperienced seller with false comments
(Regardless of whatever else happened with the sale, pointless saying you can set a reserve when you can't if you want others reading it to take anything else in the feedback seriously)
Also make sure you have fully signed up to Managed Payments and been verified to sell if you have not done so already

Thanks for the response but what I meant was that the seller can set a minimum price for their auction - apologies for misusing reserve price. If a seller auctions something without a specific minimum starting price they shouldn't complain if it sells for under what they wanted, which was my issue with that particular seller.

Not exactly sure what you ' meant '.
All auctions have a specific minimum starting price.
But that price should be what the seller is willing to sell for.
As for complaining not enough was gained - mute.

That is exactly what I mean, the seller put it up for a starting price that they weren't actually willing to sell for, I don't see where there's any confusion and what do you mean by mute?
Anyway, I don't see how any of this is actually relevant to my initial problem or why it was even brought up in the first place.

Ah ok I did think so, thanks for the help anyway, shame that nothing can be done about it. I did cancel it with that option.
