How to set up one list for a House Demolition Sale with several different items

You would need to set up individual listings for each thing. You could mention your other items in each listing so people can see at a glance what you have, then go to the appropriate listing if they want to buy.

eBay is most likely not the place to do this sort of selling.

G'Tree - in your local area would be best, listed as similar to a Garage Sale....alternatively your local paper.

I,m not sure I agree with their methods, but some sellers who dismantle cars for wrecking show a picture of the car with an 99 cent start. They advise in the listing that the 99 cents buys a wheel nut or blown light globe and to contact them for other parts, which they will list on ebay for you. They often advise what other parts are available, in the listing.  If you decided to use this method your 99 cents could be a nail. I,m not necassarily advising this method and I,m not sure how all of this sits with ebay regulations but i,m sure other forum users could offer some advice on this one. Just putting the idea out there for disscusion as it might help.

I think when you mention other items in the ad that aren't already listed, it could be seen as trying to trade off eBay, especially if you leave a phone number or something to contact. Not saying that's what people that list this way do, just that it could be assumed.

I'd also be interested to know what the more experienced think on this one as I have seen a few ads like that.

You could be right sheep. I had a listing removed awhile ago because it listed some other similar items I had up for auction that week, with the comment that I was happy to combine postage if any of the other items where purchased. Ebay classified it as Key word spamming as it mentioned other brand names ( in listing not title ) On reflection this was probably a fair call so i will let ebay have that one.

I also copped a violation for saying in my description that necklaces, earrings, keyrings etc were also available (all of which were listed).  No brand names, nothing.  It was seen as trying to sell off ebay and key word spamming - I was told if I actually showed the item numbers for the listings of the other items, that was acceptable.

List each major item eg doors/windows/tiles etc as a seperate listing. As that is how buyers will find them. You then state it is part of a whole house dempolition sale see my other listings for others items available. If you dont mention other specifics its not keyword spamming, but anyone who is likely to be interested will look. having numerous listings rather than one general demolition listing will catch mor ebuyers. Folks wont be searching for house demolition, rather "windows"" tiles" etc.

Start low as you want maximum views and thereby increasing cross promotion.

Upload your listings at the same time so they appear next to each other in general searches, which makes it even more obvious.

Most of this will be cash on pick up and you might offload other stuff while they are there.

Have you spoken to the company doing the demolition?  You can get a much cheaper price depending on what you leave in the house for them to salvage.  They will reduce the price if they want the timber skirting and floor boards.

Choose just the most valuable things for sale such as an old mantle piece or fireplace and things like lead light windows and arrange a price if you leave the rest.
