I've never known scheduled listings to be free. Infact I think in the recent past the cost of scheduling a listing actually went up.Can't remember exactly when, but probably around the same time as ebay began providing free real time listings.

Clearly they are for some reason trying to dissuade sellers from scheduling their listings.

I used to schedule a lot of my listings but not anymore - too costly !!

I thought they were now free, too.

The thing with TL is it doesn't apply freebies or discounts until you upload the listing.

Maybe try one and see what you are charged.

I believe you will find there are no fees for scheduled listings ONLY when the 100 free listings are offered.

Thanks Mate yes did the test and was going to cost 90 cents for the 1 item which is BIN and after I uploaded it cost me 50 cents so I saved the 40 cents Scheduled Fee No I have listed it to be listed tomorrow if I get any Promos tomorrow morning (Store Owner) would that other 50 cents I paid be dropped

Are you subscribed to a basic store?

I would consider upgrading to a featured store since you seem to have over 200 listings, nearly half of which are in the collectible category - with a featured store, although the fee goes up to $50 a month, you get 200 free listings instead of 80 (and that can include auctions in the collectible categories), and your FVF goes down by 1% across all categories. Insertion fees after the 200 free are used are 20c for non-media BIN, $1.00 for a collectible auction and $1.50 for other auctions (assuming the start price/s are under $100).

In regards to your question, if eBay do run some sort of promotion and a scheduled listing qualifies, then the insertion fee will reduce to 0, but otherwise the 50c will be charged when the listing goes live.

Hi Digital*Ghost

I took your advice and upgraded my store to Featured Tested 1 listing and only cost 20 cents FVF as you said at 1% less I think I can come out a lot better and Ebay will make more money So will I, I hope 200 Free listings and a lot more offers each month plus Extra tools to use. Dont know what they are yet but I will soon find out.

Thanks for the advice

Paddy
